The Atari 1030 direct connect
modem was designed for the XL series machines.
Notes:
Sadly, this modem
started off on the wrong foot. In it's basic form, it is unable to
download files. Why? Because to access the terminal software, you
"boot" off the modem, which requires you to turn off your
disk drives. Ugh.
